This is a beautifully written and illustrated book written from a lion's perspective. A superb story based on excellent natural history. A wonderful read!
Not only do I love this book, but I purchased more copies for grandsons to have their own copies. It is truly an amazing account. I happen to know that it is all true and exquisitely illustrated. I long to be with the cats that Jeanette and David archived. What a true treasure of a book!
For less than five dollars (four of which were for shipping) I got a pristine unmarked book with a very nice plastic dust cover. The fascinating tale of a Serengeti lion pride is accompanied by a wealth of detailed & beautiful drawings. Since the author & illustrator are also friends who live in the next state, I'm hoping for an autographed book when we next meet.
If lions are your fave animal, and you are looking for a good true story about them, then look no further than Lions Share. I read this a while back, and it is absolutely spellbinding.
