I just got back from Africa and wished I had this folding pocket guide. One of the travelers had it and it was invaluable on naming the animals and birds we saw. As soon as i got back I knew I wanted it so I could use it when I was making my photo book. It highlighted almost all of the familiar species we found in Kenya and Tanzania. The illustrations are colorful and and give some information about each one. I would highly recommend it for anyone that is going o East Africa.
Used this as a quick reference on a safari in Tanzania and Kenya. It is easy to carry and laminated so it doesn't tear or get dirty (dusty). Really handy! Worth every penny! We also carried the East Africa Birds reference.
Useful guide for my upcoming trip - fits in a day pack easily.
A must have for anyone thinking of a safari.
