This is a basic birding guide for the most common types of birds of the Gulf coast. the pictures are bright and clear, the descriptions adequate. This will help a birder to separate the common from the uncommon, but doesn't help with identifying those uncommon birds. It is not designed to do this. The laminated heavy card-stock should hold up well.
For years, I collect this Field Guides wherever I travel. I'm a birder. This is easy to carry and also helps me when I take photos.If I photograph a bird I can always go to this guide and identify the exact bird I took a photo of.Great photos to help you identify the birds.
I just love this easy to use guide. It is plastic coated so it doesnt tear. good pictures of all the birds. My grandchildren are learning different types of birds in our estuary backyard with this guide.
This little laminated guide is wonderful to take with you on walks so you can identify the birds you may run across. As we just moved to Florida from up North we wanted to be able to understand and name the different birds in our new home.
