This book is 370 pages of great information. This book has the updated PTCE blueprint and the chapters are broken up into 9 domains. Plenty of practice questions that are very helpful. I took the test using this book to study.I passed BUT...This book has a ton of errors. Literally one whole chapter exam, 80% of the questions and answers were misnumbered.Some mistakes you could figure out if you were testing yourself and wrote the full answer down, instead of just writing the lettered answer. (I recommend writing it out) Like the answer would be "A - 12.5mg." The back of the book would say "B. The answer is 12.5mg using proportions...." I did like that they explained the answers, when it was correct information!However I had a real problem will actual misinformation. The book info says that USP (United States Pharmacopeia) oversees MedMARX, a system to identify Med errors. Google says it, too. The back of the book lists the answer as the FDA!I rented the book but got a new book and was able to use the Access Code. The flash cards were tedious. I was actually looking forward to having cards made for me. There's like 700+ cards per chapter. A LOT of overinformation. Don't do it unless you want your brain cells to die. Plus, the website interface makes it difficult for efficient flash card studying. I liked the practice exams. Study mode will break down the questions as you go. The practice exam mode is good for giving you an indication of how you will do and you can review the answers after. I would score an avg of 70%.I believe I passed (probably just barely) because of knowledge learned while working in a Pharmacy for 1+ year. This book helped me practice math... But there are other books that will break math down a lot better. Also, it was good for learning about drug classes and interactions, which was on the exam.Of course your exam can/will be different.
