Management and leadership is an academic book. My professor recommends it in Colorado School of Public health. Along with my 10 years of experience in public health with international agencies this book brought alot to learn. I wish I had this book earlier during my work. I am sure this will help all the working class in public health to get the competencies required for leading and managing a public health organization in this rapidly changing environment.

Simple, concise, to the point. Maybe too simple for grad school but simplifies issues beautifully and in a readable fashion. This is a book I want to keep because it is such a pleasure to read. What you want to know without the stuff you don't

Easy to read although there are detailed explanations and examples for those who want to spend a bit more time.
