The book, if bought new, comes with an online access code which you can register on their site and then take quizzes and use a lot of other helpful study methods. If bought used, that code may not work.
This book became my life when I was taking my EMT class. Read pretty much every part of it. But that was many years ago, wish I remembered everything in here! Very informative and easy to read. Buy it if you want to save lives.
I didn't order this book from , these books were provided to us by the Ambulance Base that Im taking the class through. The content is great, and its very easy to read and understand. It includes pictures to explain what its talking about and everything. Its great.
The text is the standard EMR text book which is exactly what I needed to tutor a student taking the EMR course. The quality of the used book was less than it stated in the profile. Many pages were stuck together and torn. It also seems to be poorly organized and have a wordy writing style.

HOWEVER, this is NOT the promo code that gives you access to JBLearning NAVIGATE. It is a promo code to a different website. I still had to pay about $75 for access to NAVIGATE.So do not buy this textbook new for any reason.As for the products themselves, they were mediocre. The textbook did a decent job explaining concepts, but sometimes the organization and prioritization was confusing. The quizzes on Navigate were poorly designed. They tested your ability to go into the textbook and find the exact sentence the question was based on, but did not test your actual understanding of the topic.

I'm already an EMR and was just using this for reference. I feel cheated and will be returning this immediately for a full refund. Let's get it together AAOS....because Brady already seems to have it figured out.
This is an awful textbook. In severe need of an edit. It was really poorly organized and had information scattered around. The instructor for my class was angered by the careless writing of the information on conditions and treatment as well as a ton of topics never even touched upon. The information that was included was extremely vague in many aspects. This book didn't include everything we covered in my course and really missed many important subjects. Lack of illustrations and pictures. I am extremely disappointed in this purchase and want my money back.
