I think, it is better choice to buy PHTLS 8th military edition. Because military edition include all contents of this civil edition and has more contents about military situtation such as TCCC (tactical combat casualty care). So I recommend to buy military edition.
I only purchased this because I needed to have it for the class. It is the official text of the NAEMT-PHTLS cert, but is a very basic and simplistic text w very little info. But for the program cert it is necessary to know their process.
Good context and like the way things are explained for all levels to understand. As for the purchasing of this book it was delivered on time as promised and the price was reasonable
Careful - says " Hardcover – November 10, 2014" but paperback version was shipped. Otherwise I like it's approach and helpful illustrations.
