I'm glad that I bought this book. The questions were good and the explanations were excellent. I learned many concepts and clarified others by reading the detailed answers to the bio questions. Happy that I used the online resources. I am feeling much more prepared for the bio section of the DAT after using this book and the online component. Highly recommend this book
This book is a really good source of biology multiple-choice practice questions. It covers topics covered on DAT bio section and questions have 5 answer choices, which is what I needed. Very good and detailed explanations that go through many important concepts. Would recommend to others.
This biology book was very valuable for my biology review for the DAT. I recommend it for those who need biology practice and review of important topics. All the questions are separated by topics which makes it easier to use the book.
My friend took the DAT last year and he recommended the books. They were thorough, challenging and extensive in reviewing bio concepts. I learned alot and I needed the extra practice. Very happy with the book.
The book of questions and explanations is excellent. I did well in Bio in college but this practice was very helpful. Spend time to read the explanations as this is where many good concepts can be applied to answering the question and, in general, to answering other questions with similar concepts. Told my friends about this book.
My pre-professional adviser recommended this book to master biology. She told me that lots of students think they will do well with the biology section but often they are surprised and disappointed with their actual results. It was helpful to read the explanations to compare what I chose (even if it was correct) with the learning behind the concept. Definitely I have a much better understanding of biological sciences. I prepared the bio section intensely and my scores showed it. Apps in and I expect a positive decision. If you are serious about beating the competition for a great DAT score, get this book and use it.
The questions were diverse and tested many important concepts for DAT biology. I both learned many new things and reinforced what I thought I knew. The explanations were great. I really needed to practice questions and this book is excellent. My roommate used the book and she told me about it. Great book and l am happy that I used it for DAT prep.
It's a good resource for biology questions. If you feel like Destroyer questions are too much to handle, this may be a solid substitute. But I'd recommend using it with Destroyer. I feel like some questions are more MCAT oriented (dealing with Vmax in depth, etc) but it's undoubtedly a good source.
