I received this as a gift. I like it a lot, and I know it will help me prepare for the NCLEX. I was hoping the questions would be sorted by body systems so that it could help me in my current classes, but it is not. There is no quick and easy way to see just the cardiac questions, for example. The rationales are very helpful, and as I get closer to taking the NCLEX, I will be using this book more and more.Update: There is a code inside the cover for the Evolve site. There are over 6000 questions online. You can organize the questions by body system, critical care, etc. This was a tremendous help on my first test! I would recommend getting the code for the online resources on the Evolve website if you want to sort the questions to help prepare for unit tests.

The Saunders Q&A review for the NCLEX-RN examination is straightforward and to the point! Questions are to the left of the page, and answers with rationale are to the right on every page. I'm in my second semester of nursing school, and I study 10 questions/rationales per day--even the ones I get right. A few graduates from my nsg program highly recommended this Q&A guide for my NCLEX-RN prep. Happy studying!!

The question content is great, as always with Saunders, however the answers and rationale are printed directly next to the questions. For me, this means that my eyes wander and I see the answer to the question before I have time to think about it on my own. This annoys me and makes the book rather useless to study from if you like to actually use the practice questions like a mock exam. The purple-cover comprehensive review has a much better formatting to their questions, putting the answer key on a different page from the questions.

Passed my NCLEX in 75 questions! I liked the online features more than the book. The online program comes with a 75 question assessment, allows you to track your progress, and I was able to customize the question banks to fit my areas of weakness!! The strategies and rationales for EVERY question were so helpful as well. I have a classmate who has the 2009 edition which had similar questions, but the benefit of the latest edition were all the SATA questions, really a great way to prepare for the NCLEX!

If you are a new nursing student, you MUST buy an nclex book and immediately read the beginning info on how to answer nclex - style questions. This is your key to having any hope for passing your tests. Each chapter starts with a review, READ this and then do the practice questions. Some of our quiz questions came from this book.I found the reviews more helpful and less wordy than our class textbooks.

I give a five star rating and I highly recommended for all the examiners, the contents are clear and easily understand, the rationales are great with the latest form of exams.passed the Nclex at 75.I really love this book.

Love the book of questions. It does seem like the same questions inside the physical book and on line except, the online questions have additional ones. With that said it is great to have a book to carry around and work on questions when I do not have access to my computer.

I purchased this book at Barnes and Noble because it was out of stock on for too long and I needed it quickly. I bought this book specifically because it states to have 6000 practice questions. I gave it three stars based on my disappointment with the questions and the structure of the book. The book itself contains 1551 practice questions and I really liked these questions. In order to get more questions, you have to register the book code on Evolve.com and then the rest of the questions are online. However, I was really upset that when I started taking online questions, the SAME 1551 questions that were in the book were online as well. This was a compete waste of my time, as I did not need to take these same questions again. I wish that those 1551 questions were not online. Another problem I encountered was a lot of the question were repeated several times. The fact that the same 1551 questions were online too meant that I had to spend more valuable study time sifting through the questions to pass over the ones I already took. It was kind of irritating. I wish I had more time to get a Davis book, because I've heard all great things about that one. Plus I spent $58 on this book, only to realize that I could have just spent $28 on Evolve.com and got the same questions from the book and online! Overall, I do like the format of the questions and the rationales, just disappointed with the structure.
