I have been doing these "Cut and "Assemble" paper kits since they were introduced in the eighties. In the past year I have been able to find both new and "used" kits (not really used, the kit has gone on to other people than the original owner). The VICTORIAN HOUSES kit contains 4 differently styled Victorian houses plus fences in detail. Not difficult, I would rate this as "moderate" level. I use Aleene's Original Tacky Glue rather than "white glue" as the latter is slow acting and can warp paper.I was worried about some of the fine detail in porches but I have enough experience to be able to do everything well. Recommended are the Carousel and village kits, these are also well designed and fun to make, if you are like me and enjoy using your hands to make little buildings. I don't really have a use for these things, so when done I pass them on to local children.I use many tools and take my time, for me cutting, folding, and gluing are calming processes and I have been proud of these little creations. Hope you enjoy it too!
The book contains colored patterns you can cut out and use for a HO train layout, or you can make copies that you can color yourself. I used a cad program and now I can print and color them differently. This is a great book with easy to use instructions. Well done! If you enjoy making models, this is the book to get.
these books by mr gillon are spot on! i really enjoy assembling them and putting them in my model railroad diorama. They are fun to work on with my nephew & niece.
Need a quick and easy way to build up building for your railroad or dioramer, not too hard to build and with a little care will last a long time.
