The book had some great project ideas and church season info, which means that I would still recommend it for purchase. The pictures of the symbols were not overly impressive though. The formatting also was pretty bad at times with fonts being too small and lists, etc., being out of alignment.
We picked this up to use in our children's church program. It is great for the kids, serves as a great springboard for crafts, and the information is just top notch. Excellent resource.
This is a great book to help children understand the different symbols from Christianity. Works well with bulletin boards, and seasonal craft ideas.
The patterns/images were very helpful in preparing lessons, but I found the lesson ideas very vague. There were a few creative ideas to build off of.
Good solid stuff. Nothing earth-shaking-ly new. But good. And would be especially good for folks who are new to ministry.
