I really enjoyed reading these books. It was my first time reading this author. I'm not into westerns very much but his writing kept me reading! I enjoyed reading about the Fortune family their trials and their victories! Their families. I also liked when they would talk about the Lord and His plan for their lives.A fun read.
Robert Fortune and his family pull up stakes from his military life and moves to Deadwood,SD. This book was purchased as a Christmas gift for my son. He has otherbooks written by Stephen Bly and I figured I could not go wrong and I was right.
I have read the whole series, I'm on the last book now. They are a great read if you like western novels. They are exciting and keeps you interested. Steven Bly is a great author. Love the books.
