I completed this book in three weeks. It's very easy to navigate and very comprehensive. I took coding classes at a local college and with this book, all the pieces to billing and coding now fall into place. Great book!!

This book teaches you the basics of medical billing. It also provides you with several case scenarios to practice filling out forms to submit to payers. Overall, it taught me what I needed to know, and I tested out of the class I needed it for. I feel it could have been written a little better, but it served its purpose.
This book is for the beginer or for anyone looking to refresh themselves on medical billing. The book teaches the reader on how to properly fill out CMS 1500 forms and how to work on as well as inpatient billing and collections, denials and appeals. The book is easy to understand and is an easy read.
I am a new biller and found this to be an excellent and quick reference guide for many of the insurance terms and types of insurances. I would recommend to any beginning biller.
I needed this book for my class and I saved $55.00 by buying from and not my school bookstore as they were selling it used for $90.00! This book was labeled as good... I would say it was better than good in my opinion! The best part is that it came with both CD's. I hope to resell this when I am done with it.
