I had to have this workbook (goes along with the text) for a course that I am taking. I have found that the text is written for fairly easy reading and comprehension. I do have one minor complaint (if you will) about this workbook (as well as the text), I wish that the author had included example practice as she introduced each new piece of coding throughout the text, rather than waiting until the end of the chapter to inundate the new student with different practice problems. The practice is great, and there is some different practice examples throughout each chapter, but what I am trying to get at is, as each new variation to coding is introduced, do some practice right then and there, instead having to wait until the end of the chapter. I have found that there is so many variables to coding, and which coding environment you may find yourself in, that when it comes to using the workbook (and text) I have to keep going back to refresh my memory as to what coding rule, etc. I need for certain practice problems. That's o.k., it is still good practice, just time consuming. If you need this workbook for a course, do not be afraid of the size or weight of it. Be ready to learn coding and practice all the different areas. Unfortunately, our course is behind in its schedule, so I will not be able to use the entire workbook. Also, it would take more than one semester to get through this workbook, unless this was the only course taken. I would recommend this workbook if you need it. Would I have purchased it on my own? Probably not.

This book didn't come with the access code, and I am needing this access code, for my class. The description of the book said that it came with an access code as well.
