An interesting and eye opening read that helped me better understand the different philosophies of education and the subsets within. I needed this book as a text book for a class, but I am very glad I read it as it taught me a lot.
I felt this text is good starter text. Even as an Education NCOIC, I feel that this text supplements my health education text and gives guidance to the work I currently do.Thanks.
This book is a great summary of the long history of the educational philosophy, it offers an easy reading and gives the blueprints of the each educational philosophy.
Was a required textbook, overpriced, for very little information. Served it purpose of selling teachers, but offering little to students.
I use this book, as did my predecessor, in my educational philosophy seminar. It is clear and provides a sufficient overview.
