Millions of students struggle with learning disabilities. This title examines the common learning disabilities. It explains how these conditions are diagnosed.

This book is in two parts running side buy side in each chapter. The first part is an engaging story of one boys journey and the other part is an excellent summery of the important facts including government legislation concerning disabilities, and information that can be used to deal with problems associated with dyslexia. I checked this book out of the library to use in my lit review for my master's research on dyslexia remediation and I wanted my own copy; I have found to be a great resource for ordering books. The book is simple, short, concise, informative, as well as heartwarming. Anyone who has dyslexia or knows someone with dyslexia would find it easy to relate to the struggles of this young American Indian trying to deal with his difficulties.
