It's very impressive how a complex subject can be handled in a so easy way. I though the book very interesting, useful, clear and, even the math is very well explained. A great book for who wants to know about how to observe in astrophysics.
I have just received the book recently and my class has not started yet, but I quickly discovered why it's sold at such a low cost - the page numbers are not in order! They are good until pg 282, but that is followed by pages 315 - 346, then it goes back to 283 - 314, and finally back to 347 - 564.The actual book itself seems very straight forward and easy to understand, so aside from that I think I'll like it a lot.
