This book is a great resource on the subject of groundwater contamination and phytoremediation. As a regulator I have been able to use it as a framework to evaluate many phytoremediation proposals. The information in the book has enabled me to provide insightful comments that improve proposed phytoremediation plans that I might have otherwise flat out rejected. I have learned that phytoremediation can be a stand alone technololgy and a great way to enhance other remediation technologies. Most importantly the author has written the book in a straight forward manner that makes groundwater remediation make sense. The information presented in this book about phytoremediation is to regulators and environmental consultants what sunshine is to seeds. I strongly recommend buying this book.
