This is a really interesting book about biology. I really enjoyed reading this book and learned a lot about biology in the process. This book is really well written and it flows smoothly. It is very easy to follow. The concepts, facts and theories in this book were explained thoroughly and with great details. The concepts are really easy to understand.I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about biology.
Why pay full price for books at the college bookstore? I always check first. If I find it, there's usually a significant difference in price. PLUS you can sell it back at the end of the semester. Win Win!!
i need this book for my college biology class. at my school they sell it for $167... but here on i bought it for about $8. totally worth it. sure the corners are a little beat up, but it arrived right on time and i have no complaints. and some of the important parts of the book are even underlined by the previous owner. which is always a plus! lol
I just received this book yesterday after being told by my professor that i would need the new version WITH the inline access code. When the book came in the mail there was no access code of any sort to be found. For $200 I'd expect that to be the least they can do.
I got this book for my biology class and it was two editions prior to the one we used in class. I can honestly say there was not much of a difference in the current (two editions after) this one. The chapters were a little mixed aroud and there was 1one added chapter that we didn't even use. So I was golden. This book was great, it arrived earlier than expected, quality was great and the price was the best of all. Definitely recommend!
The book is interesting and informative, if you can read it!. The text in some sections are incredibly small. I had to buy a magnifier just to read the questions and some various other sections. some of the smallest print I've ever encountered in a textbook. I'm very disappointed.
Initially, I tried to purchase this book through 's "tgrogan", but this didn't work. She offered a used text for $10. It was a week before she saw the email regarding my interest in purchasing it. And then it was another week before she emailed me back, telling me the book had water damage and was illegible/unusable. I told her I expected a refund AND I NEVER GOT IT!!! Subsequent emails yielded no response from this seller. I ended up having to purchase it brand new from (not relegated to another seller). Still, I was a week late in getting it for my science class, and my grade suffered because of this. Thanks to for the new edition, and NO THANKS to tgrogan for ignoring me, and then keeping my money.
This book has been a real eye opener for me as I study the complex life of biology. However I am getting more out of reading the book than I had expected, and it is an excellent tool for school to farther my education.
