This book is filled with detailed pictures and descriptions of Oklahoma's fishes. This includes range of the species in OK, habitat details and interesting ecological tidbits. It makes an excellent field reference if you're not afraid to get it muddy and is also very good to have for keying out of individual specimens. I wouldn't want to sit down and read it through, but the book serves its purpose quite well. It's a reference book of fish. If that's what you want then go for it.
Excellent book for species write ups, pictures are fair to poor, with some only drawings of fish. Quality of pictures is the only thing I would like to improve, otherwise and excellent resource on Oklahoma Fish
This book is pretty fantastic if you want to know about oklahoma fish species. Sometimes it can be difficult to identify down to the exact species, but that is no fault of the books.
