This is an excellent book, with terrific pictures, and a not too complex introduction. Should there ever be a revised edition, it would be nice to have a bit more biology of how these species do their things. But it would certainly be my number one tide pool book. Other field guides are nice too, but I suspect that this is the one that is the one that will get stuffed into the knapsack.
