Excellent in every way! As a camera trapper, I've seen nothing like it. Worth the price for the amazing photos along, but the text is marvelous as well.
As a wildlife biologist, I see how much promise cameras have as an amazing conservation tool, and this book shows how the pictures can be as entertaining as they are informative! This book does an awesome job of showcasing how cameras, without a photographer behind the lense, capture genuine moments in the lives of so many animals across the planet. Equally amazing as the pictures in the book, are the stories that can be told from the data. Roland Kays does a great job weaving the narrative of so many creatures and their struggles for existence, from the tropics to the tundra.
This book is great. I've always been fascinated by animal behavior, and this book offers new glimpses into how animals actually live in the wild. Dr. Kays really knows his stuff, and his passion comes through. Well written with loads of interesting pictures, this book is a perfect educational gift for any budding scientist and a fun addition to a well-rounded home library. Highly recommended.
