I use it quite often to quickly identify local birds. I have also given it to a number of friends who share an interest in identifying birds at the bird feeders and on local jaunts.

My only complaint it, like an old fashioned road map, it is not easy to resold. Perhaps it is user error. We'll see how my 10 year old granddaughter does with it. I purchased it from with another book-style guide from to assist in her study of SC Birds for a school project. She lives and attends school in Colorado--and gets to summer at the beach in SC and on a mini farm in SC. We 'll report further as we do our birding.

Not all inclusive, but a great quick guide. Good to keep by the window for a fast reference when birds show up at the feeder.

It is a booklet with birds identification, what can I say, it is what I wanted and I love it.

I was very disappointed in this product. It is advertised as a book, but it should have been a pamphlet!
