My 9 year old only read about half of the book. He said is was boring (now this is a kid who love to read and reread books) but my son likes books more like diary of a wimpy kid books.
I CHOSE THIS BECAUSE OF MY GRANDSONS INTEREST IN SAMURAI. THE DESCRIPTION SOUNDED GOOD AND AGE-APPROPRIATE BUT IT IS NOT. DEFINITELY A READ FOR OLDER CHILDREN (TEEN) TO ADULT.
I love the messages of honor and respect that are tucked inside the story. The kids love the excitement and the unique characters.
My nine year old boy loves this series!
