This is the single best source to discover the Bahá'í Faith. It covers all the basics and gets into a lot of detail too. You get insight into the major players of the faith, how it all came about and what they went through. Many explanations on how to live your daily life and becoming a better spiritual being. The Bahá'í Faith has thousands of authenticated teachings but this book does a great job of condensing a lot of the main information into one book. Kenneth Bowers did an excellent job of highlighting the most major aspects of the Bahá'í Faith. The Bahá'í Faith is not here to discard the past faiths but to build upon them, to join humanity together in peace is what I got out of the book. It can be difficult to figure out but the book clarifies that even though the Bahá'í Faith is an independent religion and not a sect of another other faith. It considers itself a never ending continuation of God's message to us. That past faiths were given to specific peoples at specific times of history and given in a way that most (not all) people could accept and understand. That God will continue to give humanity guidance in the future. People of the Bahá'í Faith study Bahá'í teachings as well a most all past teachings. Such as the Quran, the Torah, The Christian Bible, Buddha, and more.Other suggestions I have,Lights of guidance : a Bahá'í reference file Hardcover – January 1, 1988 by Helen Hornby (Author), which is an excellent find it quick guide to take your through the maze out the day to day of the faith.
