Excellent book for first-time coders/non-clinical coders. Not so much for straight A&P, as I don't think it's probably specific enough and the (plentiful) illustrations are not quite detailed enough. BUT it is specifically for ICD-10, and it's great for that. The online study resources are great and I use them daily. Would definitely recommend.

I Love It. Took Medical Terminology back in 2012 for two semesters, but never had Anatomy. Looking forward to getting in deep with this book, before moving on to my coding. Spent six years as a medical coder and biller for in-house patients, but, have been out of that field now since 2009. Since ICD-10 in coming, I will have to start my coding career all over again. At least this time, I already have my college degree to go with it.

Very comprehensive text, presented to build your knowledge as you go. Order of chapters was well thought out, and information presented in an interesting manner. Huge amount of information covered, with focus on break down of word roots, suffixes, etc, to really help you to understand the terms, rather than just memorizing them. I used this book for self-study, and completed reading, and all exercises in a few weeks. Would recommend this text highly.

This book is absolutely AMAZING! It is so thoroughly written and presented. It gives a very sturdy and stable foundation from which you can successfully build your knowledge of coding from! I absolutely love it! The games and activities for testing your knowledge really make it fun and I could go on and on but my hands are cramping from too much texting and posting to snapchat so I'll let that be all but if you're considering purchasing this book I advise you to stop considering and BUY THIS BOOK, YOU WILL BE GLAD THAT YOU DID! 👌🏾💯🙌🏾😁😍☺️

This book is a great source and review for medical coding. It gives good descriptions and is written well. I'm not sure if it would be detailed enough for physicians but it's a good start.

Condition was great! Exactly the way it was described.

I was a little hesitant purchasing a book online that I needed for school, but it arrived in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Great intro for anatomy and physiology. The exercises and online quiz are very good way to test oneself on material knowledge and to revise as well
