This book has been my companion in my learning process....I recommend it!...It is approved by AMA for the certification test.I like its distribution, color, text and everything...It is perfect for me...

It has a very poor cover with the spiral. Mine is already trying to come off the spiral ring. When you are using the book for test and speed forget it will slow you down. To bad they can't think of a design, they have ran a company (Optum) for how long and this is the best they can do.

This is a great update to the ICD books. Forget comparing ICD 9 with ICD 10. The layout of the book is excellent. It is descriptive, informative, and gives me more confidence looking up codes. (New coder.) I like the spiral bound books although sometimes the spiral come out of the bottom. The color coding is good. Very, very happy with this version.

This book is bound on a cheap, flexible plastic spiral. It just came out of the box and already looks beat up and like the front will tear off at any moment. This is a very large book, but it should have been bound properly. This won't last at all. It's about 1300 pages of floppy, wrinkled, cumbersome mess. They should have at least bound it in 2 volumes, indexes and all the charts in separate volumes would work well. Other than that, it is what it is, a book you pretty much have to have. Just don't expect anything nice, the covers are so thin that it won't stand up by itself. They must realize this is a book people actually NEED so they have to buy it no matter the quality and no matter the price.

This book is beautiful! For any beginning coders, I highly recommend this brand of textbook - the colors and typeface and other notations are much easier to follow due to this format. Also, the book comes with a sheet of colored index tabs!

Everything came in on time and I had it when I needed it I was just really disappointed that I spent the money I did to get a book that the front cover was messed up. I just feel I bought a new book for a reason.

Complete and will use when I test.

Great book...well set up...its a pity that just after 1 month of buying this book they came up with the 2016 book!
