This book is amazing. The stats part should be a book on it's own. If you got "stats problems", this is pretty amazing stuff. better than actual states books. It is not an easy read, you have to think, but this is one I will keep and not resell because I will be using it!
I enjoy epidemiology, and this book is a very good text for nursing students. I learned a lot of information that I had never known during this course and while reading this book.
My background is in epidemiology but i am working in a job where a lot of my work crosses over into the realm of pharmacoeconomics. I bought this book to brush up on some of the topics that are unique to that field. This was a good overview of what's "out there" but certainly would not prepare you for any applied use of these topics. That is not a bad thing, just understand what you're getting: a good intro to the basic topics of pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research.
The book is ok. But it really needs to be available electronically!
This is a book that takes you from the history of earliest epidemiology to diagramming, study development, current and future trends in Epidemiology.
The math examples are a little more complicated than they should be- but the book overall gets the point across.
I love it. Product is as accurate and useful as the descriptions and reviews indicated it would be.
Interesting. Although the chapters are on the shorter side, it can be difficult to stay focused
